Will my courses transfer?

MSU Billings accepts credits from regionally accredited institutions.  Within Montana, institutions have Common Course Numbering for courses that are similar in content.  Your transcript(s) will be evaluated to determine if your courses will fulfill general education, major, minor (if applicable), or elective credits.  For a complete list of the Common Course Numbering guide, check out the Common Course Numbering guide here.

After we’ve processed your transfer form, our Advising and Career Services staff will evaluate your transcript to determine how your courses transfer.  You can call (406) 657-2240 to schedule an appointment with your advisor in person, over the phone, or via WebEx to review your completed evaluation. You can see our full transfer policy here.
